What is Ministerial Quota?The ministerial quota in the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is a set of posts reserved for employees. Here are some examples of ministerial quota posts advertised by the PPSC: Naib Tehsildar (BS-14): This post is advertised for the Gujranwala Division on a regular basis in the Punjab Revenue Department. Tehsildar (BS-16): This post is advertised for the ministerial quota in the PPSC. Members Board of Revenue (BS-16): This post is advertised for the ministerial quota on a regular basis in the Board of Revenue, Punjab.The PPSC also has other quotas, including a 5% quota for minorities and a 15% quota for women for posts that are filled without regard to gender.2. QUALIFICATIONGraduation (second division) from a University recognized by Higher Education CommissionComputer literate. Syllabus FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION (2024-Updated)4. Age Relaxation:The age limit for a tehsildar or naib tehsildar in Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is 21 to 30 years on January 1, 2024:Age relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed for certain categories of candidates:Male: The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, making it 35 yearsFemale: The upper age limit is relaxed by 8 years, making it 38 yearsSpecial persons: The upper age limit is relaxed by up to 15 yearsOfficials serving the federal or Punjab government: The upper age limit is 35 years if the candidate has served for at least 4 years5. Minimum Marks to Qualify the Exam:A candidate shall have to obtain 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate to qualify for interview. Thereafter, a candidate shall also secure 50% marks in the interview to be held eligible for final merit list of successful candidates.6. Negative Marking:Negative Marking shall be made and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each incorrect answer in the MCQ papers.
